Philippine Sailors contribute to Medal standing
led by German Paz our Olympic class RSX Sailor with
a Gold, Renerico Moreno with a Silver, Ridgely
Balladares/RommelChaves and Rafael Buitre/Richly
Mgasanay in 470men and 420 open with Bronzes. |

Light winds today some classes were
able to race while Hobies and 470 classes were not
able to get any racing done.

All races were postponed today due to
lack of wind, the wind was shifting and was blowing
only at an average 2 knots for a long time so the
Principal Race Officer decided to postpone all
racing for the day. |

Racing has officially started for the
12 classes for the Sailing event at Subic Bay.
Results of first day are posted in the
results page, 3 races
were sailed during the first day in medium to strong
winds. |

The Organizing
Committee have issued an amendment to the Notice of
Race - The Event will take place between Saturday 26
November and Saturday 3 December 2005. Awarding and
Closing Ceremonies will take place on Saturday 3
December 2005. The
schedule page was
revised accordingly. |
