23rd SEA Games
How to get to Subic Bay

The venue of the Sailing event will be at Subic Bay, Zambales.  The following are information that we hope will help participants in getting to the venue. Please be reminded that the organizing committee is not affiliated with any of the service providers or companies/businesses mentioned in this page.

Any official instructions and transportation specially arranged by Philippine Sea Games Committee (Philsoc) should be followed first. The below information is only for those teams that might decide to come early. We do strongly recommend though that you inform the secretariat of your plans to arrive early.

Manila-Subic by Taxi/Limousine  Service

This is probably the most recommended and most convenient way to reach Subic if flying and arriving Manila.  Just contact a Car rental service which will arrange for the appropriate vehicle for the team, pick up at Manila Airport (NAIA) and will bring you directly to your Hotel in Subic.

The following are known frequently used Services in Subic freeport which you might want to contact:

Winstar Taxi
Subic Bay Freeport Zone
047- 252 7490

Topsan Rent a Car
Olongapo City
047 – 224 9016

OTHER ALTERNATIVES:
Fly direct to Subic:

1. Before considering a flight to Manila, try to see if there is any flight by an airline from your country directly to Subic. Subic has an International airport which might just have a direct flight from your country to Subic.

2. Once at Subic you might want to consider hiring a taxi or a limousine service or an Hotel limousine pickup at the airport.

Manila-Subic by Public Bus:

1. After arrival at Manila International airport, take a taxi to Victory Liner Pasay City Bus Terminal. Take the Pasay-Olonggapo City Bus. Olonggapo city is the city just outside Subic Freeport.

2. Once in Olonggapo just take a taxi to enter Subic Freeport.

Cost is approximately US$2-3.00 per person for the bux, plus $3.00 per taxi

Manila-Bataan-Subic by Ferry and Van

1. After arrival in Manila Airport you either take a taxi to the nearby Ferry terminal or arrange for a Van to pick you up at the airport.

2. You then take the Ferry to Orion Bataan takes around 1 hour.

3. Once at Orion you will then board a Van that will take you to Subic bay, takes around 1 hour van ride.

There is a service provider that can package the pickup at airport, ferry ticket reservation and purchase, van from Orion to Subic all in. Please contact Interisland Travel and Tours Inc. Manila at +632-523-8720

If you are arriving way before the event, we strongly suggest also that you ask the Hotel you have reservations with to help with your transfer from Manila to Subic, they might have a better alternative than the above.
