Welcome to the launch of the DCBC Kairos website.

Kairos is the Greek word for "an appointed time when God meets you for the purpose of revealing His will. It is seizing the golden opportunity for action, for transformation. Allowing it to pass would mean immeasurable loss."

My prayer is that www.updcbc.org will be a valuable tool for God's blessings to flow to our members, alumni, ministry partners and friends. May it be a rich source of encouragement, inspiration, items for prayer, for action, for transformation. I envision this website will even help foster unity in the DCBC family, that others might be drawn to Christ and give praise to our Heavenly Father.

And what an appointed time it is for the Lord to call Dr. Isabelo Magalit to be our Senior Pastor for at least the next three years! With his stature in the Christian community, his sterling ministry experience, his many gifts and talents, DCBC is so blessed, indeed. May his leadership spur us even more to pursue the cause of Christ, build God's Kingdom and bring glory and honor to His Name. Over a span of almost 30 years, we have been recipients of the Lord's faithfulness under the shepherding of Pastors Gene Lara, William Girao and Minho Song. And now, welcome to DCBC, Pastor Bel!

Exciting events are happening in our midst. We trust that you will continue to pray for DCBC, that we might be a vibrant church in the UP community, proclaiming the good news of salvation, making disciples, and sending out laborers for the harvest, near and far.
